Update: March 6, 2022

‘Then Noah and his family left the ark and he built an altar to the Lord.

He took clean animals and birds and offered burnt offerings to the Lord.

The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, and said in his heart,

“I will never again curse the ground because of man even though the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down  every living creature as I have done. While the earth remains, seed time and harvest,  cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease. I have established  my covenant with you and every living creature for all future generations:

I have set my rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. I will remember my everlasting covenant between me and you and every living creature.”’

Excerpts from Genesis 8 and 9

Prayer for Ukraine:

Father, we come to you in humility and boldness. You said we could come to your throne of grace and ask for  mercy. We are asking you for mercy to be given to the people of Ukraine. We ask for you to use the evil that is  taking place, and bring any possible good from it, just as you did with the prodigal in Scripture. (Prayer from IFA  March 4th)

Please return your baby bottle as soon as you can.

Please join us for prayer at 9am on Sunday mornings in the Prayer Tower.

Update: February 27, 2022

I will sing to the Lord for he has triumphed gloriously;

He has hurled the horse and rider into the sea.

The Lord is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.

This is my God, and I will praise him—my Father’s God and I will exalt him.

Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in power.

Your right hand, O Lord, smashes the enemy.

In the greatness of your majesty, you overthrow those who rise against you.

Who is like you among the gods, O Lord—

Glorious in holiness, Awesome in splendor,

Performing great wonders?

With your unfailing love you lead the people you have redeemed.

In your might, you guide them to your sacred home.

“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. In that day you will say; ‘Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.'” (Isaiah 12:2-6)

Update: October 24, 2021

The Angel of the Lord said, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. The baby born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. For the word of God will never fail.” Mary responded, “Oh how my soul praises the Lord. How my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! He took notice of this lowly servant girl, now all generations will call me blessed. For the Mighty One is holy, and has done great things for me. He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. His mighty arm has done tremendous things.” (Selections from Immerse Bible pages 4-5)

Pray with us for:

People still recovering from covid

That we as individuals would bring glory to God by accomplishing all He has given us to do. “I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work that you gave me to do.” (John 17:4)

“May the God of peace equip our persecuted brothers and sisters with all they need for doing His will.” (Hebrews 13:20)

Immerse Book Club

We’re excited to launch our Immerse Book Club at CLC Church, starting the week of October 17, 2021.

“Using a Bible designed for reading at length, readers are invited to get lost in the stories, poetry, letters, and other literature that make up that grand narrative of the Scriptures. A simplified “book club” discussion model encourages groups to read large portions of the Bible and simply talk about what they read.”

“It’s not a Bible study. It’s ultimately an invitation to a vibrant, transformative relationship with God and with each other through his Word.” (from Institute for Bible Reading)

Let us Immerse ourselves in God’s Word anew!

Update: October 17, 2021

“Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path.” Psalm 119:105

“Work hard so God can approve you. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

Today’s speaker is Nelson Mead.

Pray with us for: an anointing on our Immerse Bible Clubs that will begin this week, a greater love for the lost to be saved, a responsible federal budget, for spiritual revival to sweep across our nation.
