Update: February 13, 2022

“Put on, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. Above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which you were called. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:12, 14-17

~Steve and R.K. Ulrich continue to spread God’s glorious light to countries all over the world. Even through the pandemic, the Lord continued to work through them to encourage churches and believers in these countries. They did not shrink back, but found new, creative ways of serving and bringing the Gospel to the people. Due to the generosity of some of their donors, they were also able to help, above and beyond their long term financial commitments, with food distribution in several communities among destitute people who had become impoverished by the effects of the pandemic. Pray that their effort would be successful and bring many into God’s kingdom.

~The spread of the gospel among participants in the Olympic games and among local, provincial, and national Communist Party Leaders. Pray the for the safe distribution of Bibles in every part of China.

Afghan resettlement meeting: There will be a short meeting after church for anyone interested in helping Afghani refugees settle in our area. Come learn about what is involved in welcoming people and helping them settle in. Responsibilites for the ninety day commitment include furnishing their first home, meeting them at the airport, helping them find housing and jobs, enrolling children in school, connecting adults to English classes, signing them up for public benefits, introducing them to the local area, and orienting them to American culture. If you are interested, but cannot attend, contact John or Betsy Lampman.
